Jake Spolan

Senior Policy Associate

As a Senior Policy Associate at AnnDyl Policy Group, he supports policy research; energy efficiency advocacy; and drafting articles, testimony, client memos, and reports focused on clean energy policy issues, including commercial and residential building energy efficiency.

Prior to joining AnnDyl, Jake interned with Air Clean, LLC supporting the company’s advanced emissions control technology, and with the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) where he helped organize lobby days between member companies in the solar industries and members of Congress. He also has experience drafting speeches and monitoring/researching state and federal legislation in support of energy policy, including the South Carolina Energy Freedom Act of 2019.

Jake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina with a focus on sustainability and energy policy as well as a minor in Spanish. He spent two summers abroad in Spain, Germany, and Denmark studying sustainable journalism and business/communications and is fluent in Spanish.
