Prior to joining AnnDyl, Skip has been involved in public policy and environmental legislation as a legislative intern for Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL05) and Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-09). He also worked with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), first as an intern working on energy efficiency policies and reports on green infrastructure and resilience and most recently, as a full-time member of their Advocacy & Policy group. 

He has experience developing an energy efficiency policy brief for the 2018 Building Efficiency Accelerator summit in Mexico City, Mexico as well as composing articles on federal climate action plans, state net zero policies, and the HOPE for HOMES Act. He also has experience in media producing content and managing/conducting interviews with notable individuals such as Joe Biden Senior Advisor Symone Sanders, former Ebola Czar Ron Klain, and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice, John Yoo.

Skip holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and History from Claremont McKenna College.
