Katherine is an attorney and senior environmental policy professional with more than 15 years of experience working exclusively on climate change policy.  Katherine’s areas of expertise include domestic and international climate policy, climate change and national security risk, and strategic climate change communications.  She also brings to AnnDyl a long history of convening climate conferences and workshops amongst diverse audiences.


Prior to joining the team at AnnDyl, Katherine directed the climate change program for a number of leading national and international non-profits, including World Wildlife Fund, E3G, and US PIRG.  As Director of Policy for US Climate Action Network, Katherine was responsible for facilitating joint policy, advocacy and communications strategies for the largest US network of organizations focused on climate change policy.  Katherine has served on the board of several non-profit organizations, and as co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Climate Change and Sustainable Development.  These positions helped Katherine form an extensive network with colleagues the military and intelligence fields, labor, Fortune 500 companies, and electric utilities.  

Katherine has testified before Congress on global warming and energy issues and has authored numerous reports and articles on climate change for environmental, legal, and general interest publications and has appeared numerous media outlets including NBC, ABC, CNN, NPR, The Washington Post and The New York Times and numerous media outlets in Europe and Asia.

Katherine has a Juris Doctor and a Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from University of California at Santa Cruz.
